Dave,

You took the words right outta my mouth. See Cunli? This is the kind of crap that I ranted about in my responses to Earl's message below. You would have never seen this type of post on the TechNet from a vendor there...

And "Squeegee dude", I've worked with many different printers MPM, DEK, Cuger, FUJI, SMT Tek, HTI, etc. and I've never seen a "roll-type" of cleaner work good. They may be okay for 50-mil pitch apertures, but don't do crap on anything less than that.

I've also had serious problems with them in a memory company I worked at in the past from them doing nothing but smearing the paste on the bottom of the stencil so that they deposit solder on the gold fingers of the next few boards coming in to be printed after a cleaning cycle, giving me hundreds of SIMM's that needed gold finger rework after assembly. Took me weeks to figure that problem out back then. I can't imagine that you have come up with a better solution than any of the major printer companies that I listed have...

If the brainless idiot that keeps posting this message on the forum bothers to read any of the replies to it, please take note of the following, originally posted by Cunli on March 25th:

----------------------------------------------------------------- This morning we had to delete two messages that promoted company products and services on this TECHNICAL Forum. Although these messages are useful information, they are in violation of our Forum rule that prohibits unsolicited advertising through a posting. We encourage all companies to register with SMTnet so that your products and services are easily found through our Directory Database. We also recommend that companies try out banner advertising on the SMTnet site. Please e-mail me or call me at 207-780-0887 if you are serious about reaching our 15,000-20,000 monthly visitors. Thank you.

Cunli Jia Director of Product Development SMTnet -----------------------------------------------------------------

This is a great forum; I, along with many others, want to see it stay that way. This kind of garbage has no place here. Do us all a favour, In-Tec (whoever you are), and go away now.

You clearly violated the "No Advertising" rule, although you may have been unaware of this when posting your message. We regret that we did not have a chance to delete it before it generated so many responses. In order to prevent such incidents from happening again, we are in the process of designing a more effective way of communicating the rules of the SMTnet community.

Dave,

I am willing to give him/her the benefit of doubt. Therefore I don't think In Tech should pay more than with the negative publicity. We never emailed out the posting that Scott pasted below. In addition, people using English as a second language do tend to miss things, as I do.

Thanks,
