Looking for users of the Emerald pick and place.Comments on that equipment would be greatly appreciated. QFP and micro-BGA placement, idiot proff software etc.

We just got a good offer to use that equipment for our training center instead of our present machine of another make. And we are listening...

And we are listening... | Fell in love with Emerald's last year in Seattle. Been going together, off and on, for all this time. Can find few flaws in new equipment. You know what to do about evaluating used.

Setup easy. Operations very straight forward and user friendly. Reasonably fast with twelve sub-heads on each of two main heads. Can be programmed to do boards sequentially or simultaneously (mirror placements). Software great. Vision system equally great. Need I say more but I like it.

And we are listening... | Mario; We are current user of Emerald&Topaz. Our process request BGA & QPF 208 15mil pitch, Emerald has handle over a year without any main problem. Software is just not idiot proff, however it has several password level so it may be impossible to modify critical data.Moreover, Philips' support is very detail. I do not have any inconvenient to recommend Emerald
