What is the different between SAC and LF Solder Alloys?I found out that LF38 is SAC105 and LF45 is SAC305. Is it because LF is some standard international name for particular country?

SAC is a lead free solder alloy.

At one time, Nippon Micrometal Corp. (NMC) [158-1, Sayamagahara, Iruma, 358-0032, Japan; +81.4.2934.6101 F+81.4.2934.5454 nmc-net.co.jp] called some of its alloys: LF35, LF45(SAC305), LF38(SAC105) and LF31(SAC405).

I’m not sure of the viability of NMC, at this time.

SAC is a lead free alloy that comes from SnAgCu(tin, silver, copper). When you say SAC305 that means 3%Ag 0.5%Cu and the rest is Tin. About the LF I assume that it means Lead Free, but what metal contents it has I can only guess.
