Has anyone using these ovens had any problems with the chain (flat) belt slipping? I suggested to the tech we remove a link in the flat chain, and he responded it would make it out of warranty. It's the same type of chain flat belt as most wash and reflow overns use, so i don't see the problem in removing a link. It seems as the oven heats, the chain stretches and gets looser as it runs. The Essemtec techs have told us these doozies......clean the rubber drive roller with alcohol or a dry brush. Build the rubber drive roller up with more rubber. There is a tension adjustment to do, which is moving the drive and follow rollers back to remove the slack, but we have them all the way back now. any ideas?

Hello,

I would remove a link, if I was you. As I can hear from you their support is not good anyway(if it is in warranty, they should help you, wright?).

Ed, sounds like your tech. is full of *hit. He must be fatter and lazier than me!! I'd call Essemtec and make sure that his statement is correct, and if it's true, Gabriella is right. Have a good one bud.

Greetings,

I have to agree with others here. If the system is under warranty get them back in and have them fix it. I work for another oven manufacturer and we would take care of this under warranty. If it is a design defect we might fix it for free.

Best regards,

Gary

I would remove enough links to get the tensioning assembly back where you have room for adjustment again. I would have to agree that if the machine is still under warranty you should have Essemtec correct the issue.
