Good afternoon,

Could you tell me if MPM AP25/HiE can be equipped with side clamping system (snuggers)? It would be great to know the price of such modification as well. Thanks in advance.

Hey, I've seen a lot of AP25's with snuggers. I don't know if they all came with the pneumatics or not..but if you have the snugger reg. guage, just underneath the Z table, you should be okay. The fellas at goppm (www.goppm.com) have a lot of knowledge and spare parts for these machine. They could probably get you some pricing.

they cost 35 or 36 hundred dollars from mpm. And if the board are thiner then 20 thousands in thickness, lots of luck.

Good afternoon,

We use both brands. Speedlines latest printing machine generation is as good as DEK. Its my humble opinion only. But AP 25 vacuum support system starts to fail even with fine pitch. Thanks for your input anyway.

You can get a topside edge-clamping system to fit your AP HI E printer from Gridlok. They make a universal tooling system and topside edgeclamping system for the AP series and UP 2000 series printers. The Y snugger tooling option when ordered with the machine from MPM is almost $20,000. The Grid Lok topside edge-clamp system is relatively inexpensive. They have a new system out the works with very small edge clearance applications.
