If by singulation you mean depanelising then the following:

Press with steel rule die & plate - approx $500 for tooling Not particularly accurate, and needs replacing regularly, can be modified very easily

Press with die tool - approx $10k-20K tooling, very accurate, lasts a long time, tough to mod.

Laser cut - we never tried this but a supplier swore by it.

not keen on pressing myself lot of stress can lead to delam and cracked solder joints, I prefair CNC router, lot of dust but if its extracted well its very good and stress free in more ways than one

True, but we were doing 25,000 boards a day. We never did see any delamination issues, but we did only press-cut the breakout tabs.
