Stencil Cleaning / Zestron / Vigon

We have had positive experiences with our evaluations of Zestron Vigon SC200. To make the determination adequate to support your process application, the Vigon SC200 should be cross referenced to your specific adhesive, water soluble and no-clean paste flux, and, cross-referenced to your process parameters (peak temperature experienced, time-to-clean, etc) If a cross reference based on prior evaluations is not available, then a new evaluation may be warranted. I suspect Zestron and know AAT can support your evaluation if you would like assistance.

I evaluated a couple of the Vigon products by Zestron last year and I think the SC200 was one of them. They seemed to clean OK, and Zestron said they were biodegradable, but they conveniently failed to disclose that they contained VOCs. If you are restricted on VOC emissions, I would confirm the VOC content before using a Zestron product. I would also use an exhaust system as the odors are very strong. The cost was very high compaired to the other products we evaluated.
