Hi,

Can anyone recommend a US based fast turn board shop that is very good, and can meet fast turn deadlines of boards with up to 12 layers?

Where are you located? This would help in determining whom local can service your requirements. To arbitrarily throw out names is just rediculous.

Hi,

We are not based in the US at all, but the US PCB manufacturers are the only ones that combine good customer service, the ability to product rapid prototypes without huge setup costs, and meet deadlines. As the global electronics market has changed, the US companies have become really good at this, and this is why we use them.

I have given up on anything in SE Asia, and Australia (where we are based), as instead of adapting to the competition from China, they have generally just tried to compete on cost, and let themselves degrade to the point of becoming unusable. While the US companies have realized that there are advantages to being locally US based and fast turn boards are a good market.

We have found the US companies have become so good at it, that we can send our files to the US board shops, and then the finished PCB's FedEx'ed across the other side of the world faster than using local companies here, or even in SE Asia. Quality is great, and we always get the boards on time.

However the current PCB supplier we use has become so busy, they cannot accept orders sometimes, so we need an alternative when they get busy. That's why I asked the question, and because we are ordering from overseas, we can order anywhere in the US, as long as the company is a good one.

I hope that explains everything!

Regards,

Grant

Dynamic Details Inc (DDI) is another quick turn pcb manufacturer you should take a look at. I work in a division of DDI that specializes in quick turn assemblies if you ever have the need for such. You can contact myself or one of our myaccount managers, Nick Lasasso, at 303-682-1675 if you have any questions.
