Conductor or Trace Spacing

Conductor or Trace Spacing | 6 July, 2005

Can anyone help me on where to find reference for the above info other than IPC2221 as it is not covered by the said standard. I am looking for a proper trace spacing for my lightning protection circuit on my PCB for the following requirements:

750 Volts (Spike) @ 100 micro seconds.

What spacing do I need for the circuit traces that has this voltage flow?

Thanks and regards,

Voltage does not flow. Current flows as a result of a change in voltage.

Current capacity of traces * Graph is IPC-2221 paragraph 6.2, Figure 6.4 * http://www.geocities.com/CapeCanaveral/Lab/9643/TraceWidth.htm
