What is the rule for setting the lighting level for fiducials. There is an inner and outer lighting ring, both can be set independantly on a scale of 0 to 100. It seems to be just trial and error getting it to work on different products, which is a slow process. Any ideas?

The inner light ring creates a direct light to the fiducial. If you deal with a very shiny fiducial (or board) the light will reflect into the lense, create white spots in the camera CCD chip and make the fiducial shape un-readable. Use the outer light ring for shiny fiducials and the direct light for dull non- reflective fiducials.
