hi! i am concern with the position of the workers in terms of visual inspection,since they deal with very small and intricate parts in pcbs. I would just like to ask which is better to have, the standing or sitting positions for them? specially that i have observe that long exposure to standing may cause fatigue with them.

Your inspection people will tell you what they need. We have some that prefer to stand while others sit. It has to do with chair / table / operator heights. e.g. tall table with a short operator they will want/need to stand and vice versa. Usually the table/chair height should allow for the operators elbows to just rest on the table surface with them slightly extended out from their body.
