What type of component you are handling. Connector or IC.

Do you have influence on the design process ? Avoid components you are not able to assemble in certain $-limits.

A way to put delicate parts on the pcb that your PnP isnt able to place is to add an SMD-manipulator used for manual assembly between P`n`P and reflow mounted to a conveyerelement with stop-function. Most of the time I see operators putting odd components with tweezers on the boards but Im not sure that I can recommend that in general.

Good luck

I don,t speak english very well but I,m trying to give my opinion. I have the same problem but with the conecctor, because I have an IP-II and it hasn,t nozzle origin, I think if "I have an IP-III; I can correct this problem" I think maybe we need to find the apropiate equipment. does your equipment have the capability to P'n'P thats component?

Alek & Ramon: What are we talking about: * Presentation: Feeders / trays / etc * Pick-up: Nozzels / grippers / etc * Reflowing paste for PTH parts

Good luck Dave F
