Hi Guys,

I have a customer who requires 95 paper 8*4 CP6 feeders on the setup. We dont have the required quantity but we do have embossed feeders that we could use. Just looking for some onfo. on performance using paper in embossed feeders as I might have to go with this as a once off.

Need to decide before close of business today.

We have a CP4 that is fully loaded with work for next month so we would usually run all high feeder setups on that machine.

Any experiences let me know.

Cheers, AJ

It's been a while but I believe we did this and it'll work (misspicks WILL go up though). I would make a quick test program and pick 50 or so parts from a feeder and place on a board with sticky tape. Placement won't really be the issue, just pick up and this test will give you a good idea of what to expect.

good luck, pr

I have done this and it works just fine but going the other way plastic to paper wont work becuase of the missing groove.

You can do it, but you will have a crap load of pick errors. Not really reccomended.
