AVK 3 x Universal VC2 Sequencer 8 | 26 January, 2005

Morning All,

I have to choice between two axial through hole machines: Panasert AVK 3 and Universal VCD Sequencer 8. I will insert axial components with 0,45 mm to 0,8 mm component lead diameter and perform jumper wire insertion in the same machine. What is the best choice? Could someone help me?

I am using the AVK and am VERY pleased with it. One thing to keep in mind is incoming tape and reel has to be pretty exact. The parts are going into a feeder and if the width varies too much you'll have problems. After we got control of Tape and reel variances, it has run great. Can't comment on the Universal.
