I have worked w/ the GSI SVS 8200's. They seem to do a pretty decent job, but, they are a "bottleneck" on my lines. I hope you are using good screen printers, because they WILL find the slightest "defect". About 75% of our failures are actually false. Are the orbotech's listed above a laser inspection machine? The only ones that I'm familiar w/ are vision based primarily for parts placement inspection, not 3D laser inspection.

I was given the task of specifying our next AOI platform for our company. The new Orbotech Symbion P36 machine uses a laser and might have been my top pick, however the machine is so new I was not able to see a demo and the company was unable to run a sample PCB so I could do a comparison between all three machines (plus others). All said and done these guys were dropped from the list because of their lack of support and the inability of running a teat board.

I have seen an in-depth demo of the Panasonic IPV. The IPV is a good machine. It is faster than the GSI and the IPV passes a GR&R better than the GSI.

We use several of the GSI 8200 here.
