Component Counter - THT!! | 1 June, 2000

Okay, so my boss gives me this little "side project" that nobody else wanted to do...

....our Component Prep area (an area that no Engineer wants to support) is in need of a thru-hole component counter - counts both bulked and reeled parts. They had an old "TOLEDO" brand individual part counter, and also an "Iiteco" brand microcomputer counter. I can not locate either of these companies, and have made calls to 3 different reps. that I deal with. ....no success.

Please help me!!!!!

Bag the reps, they're good for lunch, but that's about it. Your equipment could have been made by a company that the company they rep took over and they proably wouldn't even know it.

These folk are amoung those that make counters. Some where in this list is a salty cat that knows the biz well enough to help you ...

Can't help with the Toledo counter, but it sure sounds like it may be partof the Toledo Scale company.

Iteco is from Italy, try www.iteco.it - I don't know who reps them in the USA, but they dohave an English page versionon their website. Good luck. Regards, Terry W
