Depaneling tolerace check

I am looking for a fool-proof way to have operators measure PCB's out of the depaneler to ensure that the tolerances for the outside edges are being met. Probably a spot check system to make sure the process is in tolerance. So far building a "GO" , "NO GO" fixture is what I have tried. Does anybody know of a better way?
