Does anyone know how to skip a component while in full auto mode on the HSP?

This was not a automatic feature of the 4796 series HSPs. You can try to continue to reset-start the feeder crg after each component missing event, and slowly build the remaining placements, but at some point you will reach a dead end. My best advice is to identify the last placement & offset (can be Identified from Auto Operation Screen), E-stop the machine, bypass the component ID in the Pattern Program , and reload the program. You can then use Semi-Automatic Mode to set and resume from the placment at which you left off. Best of luck..

Thanks T.Vick, I will try it. Is E-stopping the machine necessary? Or can I hit system clear?

System Clear is not always on option, and I'm not sure in this specific case if it will "let you". If it will, it should have the same effect. You may want to review the "warm start" function of the machine as well. This is an "auto recovery mode" that may also be of interest.

Best of luck, T. Vick
