SOT 23 not reflowing

Upon inspection were seeing most if not all of these SOT 23 are not reflowed properly. The components just sit on top of the solder, this is creating insufficients, poor wetting, etc. There are about 25 SOTS per board, 2 boards per panel creating alot of rework.

Any ideas.

Do you have a different reel of parts. The leads could be oxidized from age. If everything else is soldering well, I would try that. Is your profile on your oven correct?

There are 5 different types of SOT's from 5 seperate reels, all of the other parts reflowed fine. Will check the profile.

Thanks

Chris,

1. You may want to check lead finish (plating).

2. Is there shadowing?

3. Is Pik-n-Place providing enough pressure to slighlty push part into paste?

4. Is this a new product? or existing? If existing has suppliers for parts changed?

5. Is there enough paste?

6. Is there long time betwen print and reflow?
