I have seen a few around in PA. Customers seem to like them. Comments I heard was that they're better on smaller components but not so good on large UFP. Mirae (Korean company)is the OEM for the Quad Meridian. Mirae is back with Tyco/Quad for distribution.

We have four Meridian 1030s here in MI? What would you like to know? Our SMT technician can be contacted at grieb@lectronxi.biz. He should be able to answer any questions you have...

Hello James,
I realize that we are not to post sales ads in forum however, we are a pre-owned equipment dealer with access to several Meridian 1010's; please email sales@tekmart.com if you are interested.
Thanks,

James,
The previous post with grieb@lectronxi.biz was a typo, try lectronix.biz (gotta love whois!).

we have two 1030 and two 1030p. Great for customizing and making changes on the fly. Although support from Mirae is non- existant, in fact trying to find anyone from that company who knows anything is a joke. Tyco seems to have the only qualified personel if there are any serious issues.

Tyco is the american distibutor for mirae....thats why support directly from mirae is non-existent. If you have a machine you must go through Tyco unless you know someone on the side who knows the equipment.
