Hello,

Can I please get some help on finding formulas for calculation of surface mount pad sizes for stencil design and solder paste deposition. I've recently joined a company who has allowed their stencil supplier to develop the stencils based upon submission of their Gerber files. The present situation has not produced satisfactory results. I have previous experience with GERBTOOL, but it's been a while 3-4 years since I've designed stencils and need some direction on where to obtain current stencil and pad design criteria. The help would be greatly appreciated.
