Is there anyone who can give me a tip of how I can repair 0201 components on a PCB-board? I would also like to know if there are any special tools for that operation!

Thanks Peter

A real small soldering iron, a real steady hand, a qualified solderer. Soldering skill set is key. Iwould sugest a Micro scope. Sonora Mfg (I am sure there are others)has an infinate scope that you can solder under. aside from that....skill set.

Listen. Reworking 0201 is too expensive.

Heres watt yado * Cut the lil suka between the pads on the board using side cutters. * Flick each piece from its pad, after melting the solder with a standard soldering iron. * Solder the terminations of a new component to the pads using a standard iron with standard practices.

Am abit confused here, so suggestion is not to manual rework solder the 0201, and rather to cut em' out, with the cut shear applied at the end-terminals?

elaborate pls? thanks

Maybe Prof. Whoopee will have to take out the 3 D BB and draw us a picture.
