Fuji Nozzle, in house repair? | 12 March, 1998

Has anyone had any success in repairing Fuji CP nozzles in house? Removing bent press fitted nozzle and replacing. Any input would be appreciated, please no solicitation from repair shops

How could your time (labor) be cost effective in replacing nozzle tips (consumable items)? I have two CP4.3 which ran for six months before bending a nozzle. If nozzle bending is freequent check your PD data and/or your station 1 and 7 adjustments as-well-as your Z-axis origin.

Any input would be appreciated, please no solicitation from repair shops So far I havn't had any luck in doing this...but then again, I've just toyed with it. Mr. Kooki was right in mentioning the labour costs. Another aspect to look at though if you are getting lots of bent nozzles, is your operators, We can run 2-3 months without damaging one. the number only tends to increase when we train new operators. Ben
