One of my customers is looking for something to rid his workbenches of solder fumes. What vendors and technologies are available at reasonable cost?

| One of my customers is looking for something to rid his workbenches of solder fumes. What vendors and technologies are available at reasonable cost? Hi there Jim! You might check with Impell Technologies, it's just a standard exhaust filtering system, not a specialized system just for rework, like say a Fumex or something like that is...you could save a few bucks because of that. Just because it's not specifically made for rework doesn't mean that it won't do the job...Impell supplied almost ALL of the filtering units for everybody there that was reflowing or waving live at NEPCON. I know down at the TAC line that's all we had. We also used Impell units at SMI last year. Check one of the smaller units out. I think it would be pretty easy to take some flexible ducting to rig up some sort of manifold in order to be able to focus where the unit will be drawing air from -Steve Gregory-.
