Leader Tape for SMT components | 28 May, 1998

Is there someone who can tell me where I can buy rolls of leader tape for SMT component tapes. Is there a good way of bonding leader tapes, maybe a special instrument to do the job. Thanks for any help.

We do a lot of small batch production runs. We have to use component reels over and over. With the loading and unloading of reels on feeders, the cover tape sometimrs breaks off. We need extra cover tape to splice onto a reel for re-loading on a feeder.
