email address change | 13 June, 1998

To those interested, I have had to change back to my long distance ISP address because my local affiliate has problems. My new address is pod@ix.netcom.com (again) while in Michigan and my phone number remains 734-654-0981 Thanks, Earl Moon

Just knowing how interested you all are, I would like to anounce that my local provider is back in business just the way I specified. Therefore, both adresses are now valid. What the Hey - it's SaturDey! Thanks for putting up with this nonsense, especially you guys at SMTnet, Earl Moon

| | To those interested, | | Earl Moon What would life be without a bit of change. Just finished the week at Nepcon East (should be Nepcon New England) What we really need is a good Nepcon east show located so more people would attend the show from east of the big river. later Wayne

What about soldering those things (you know - pastes, stencils, profiles?) and what about more news on embedded devices? Write from you soon, Earl Moon

I started hearing about 0201's at the beginning of last year, and remember thinking then why in the world someone would ever need a individual resistor or capacitor to be that dinky...I know there's a push to make things smaller, faster, and lighter, but I think the geniuses that come up with these microscopic packages need to spend some time on a production floor after they put these little jewels out on the market. I'd be willing to bet if some of the designers had to deal with putting together the things they create, you might see some different designs coming off their computers... -Steve-
