No sour grapes, This has gone on too long. I expect no free advertising, nor do I seek it. It is clearly understood Bob is an industry leading consultant. What is not understood, at least by me, how he is allowed to "advertise" so freely on this forum while the rest of us simply "give" it away and gladly in return for mutually sharred information and friendly relationship building based not on monetary gain or ego boosting (that last one may be in error, what?) Oh do forgive me my SMT Lord and Master, but this is getting old, Thanks for putting up with someone who neve complains but just wants equal time if I knew enough to get paid excessively for it, Earl Moon

The most recent text on "Gold Spotting" which I posed yesterday will be a future topic of debate, it has already been discussed before by SG and TP on the Forum with some good practical input.

Earl / Dave / Steve is coming / Justin / Jon / Ben Guess I would like to see the technical forum stay just that (Technical) but there always seems to be one or two people that sell sell sell post pictures of equipment or themselves and expect that the majority will accept it. (Steve I like your pictures!) Oh, I am a salesmen too, but I guess not to good of one, as I attempt to stay away from pushing products at people on the forum. This is about the only place I visit regularly most to read and learn and certainly hate to see it turn into a circus! There are other forums that accept free advertizing and now when you visit them all you see is ad's for candy, objects from China, or used equipment at prices you can not believe. This technical forum has a way of cleaning itself up and I am sure it will do it again..... Just my thoughts.......sorry Wayne

I still am troubled with the electroless nickle/phosphorous intermetallic issue raised by Motorola in this forum's archives (either June or July). Why don't we focus on some real problem solving if this is really a problem. Some of the folks on the IPC TechNet are talking about alternatives. Few are providing answers but to say half the board shops on the planet are using the process. My question now is does that make it right? Moonman
