How bout a way to check the forum for new postings according to date. I have seen other forums that will give you an option to click on new messages and see what has been posted since the last visit. Just an Idea Mike

I have seen other forums that will give you an option to click on new messages and see what has been posted since the last visit. Mike, Thank you for being the first contributor to the Admin Corner and for the excellent idea. We've being considering several ways to achieve this: 1. Showing the most recent messages, e.g., the most recent 20 msgs or msgs from the last 24 hours. This is the easist to implement. 2. Allowing all messages to be sorted by date posted with the most recent on top. This is harder to implement. 3. Showing all messages that have been posted since your last visit. This is most difficult since it requires us to keep track of each visitor via a user id or cookie. However, this is also most useful. We favor this solution. We need more comment from all of you. So that I may see who has responded to postings since I last visited without scrolling through the thread. That way I can quickly see if anybody has taking offence to any of my postings (hi Bob W. ��~) I feel like a kid in a candy store, all this great stuff and I want more.
