Vibratory Feeders - USVIBRA vs. COMTRA PRODUCT SUPPORT

On 9/9/98 I posted in this forum the need for help into looking at Vibratory feeders...plus and minuses (Thank-you to those who responded). I have recieved feedback into both the Comtra feeder as well as the USVibra feeders. It appears both groups have customer support issues. I believe that USvibra is larger and has been around longer than Comtra (but I could be wrong). Any additional information that could be supplied referencing either company's product support and quality would be appreciated. My management is very hot on this project and I would like to put together a management summary package including product references (good and bad) from this forum along with pricing and delivery information I have recieved from each company. Thank-you

Thomas, I just want to say once again that vibratory feeders are a big pain in the buttocks, but better than nothing...and there's only one belt feeder I'd ever consider buying, and that's Comtra's. Don't waste your time with US Vibra's belt feeder, you'll be sorry...don't say I didn't warn you. -Steve Gregory-

We're now putting every part with >2,000/year usage on reels.

Luckily this guy still likes me. Those people did everything but spit in his face, both when he was trying to place an order and later when he needed some support. Jim
