Wave Solder Processs Control | 3 November, 2000

Has anybody done an evaluation on Wave Solder Process Control Modules? I am looking at the ECD WaveRIDER or the Wave Solder Optimizer to try and implement process control on our wave soldering operations. Which is better for controlling the process or is there something better out there.

Mark - The Waverider is a great tool. It will let you know what's going on with the machine itself - contact time in the wave, parallelism of the wave, temp, and a relative idea of whats happening in the preheat section, and conveyor speed.
