Remember, even if you are successful in your justification of not cleaning your final product, there will always be a need for cleaning. Screens, stencils, misprinted PCBs, wave solder pallets, squeegees, tooling, etc. New cleaning applications can develop. Example: Pallets that normally would get cleaned concomitantly with the PCBs, now just accumulate flux residue because the PCB cleaning operation has gone away. You will need a good stencil cleaning process that can handle these cleaning applications.
