Seems you've taken a step backwards, or is it me? I like the new format but it seems to be loading slower. Also, E mail addresses are no longer available from FAQ's Was this a problem? I like to email related issues rather than post.

Item#2... I am now responsible for the advertising of the Create products from Panasonic and I am a fan of the SMTNet. Dave Hattas is no longer with the company. I would like to get some information on putting an ad on the site and updating our product info. Email me at jmederna@panasonicfa.com Thanks

Jon,

Thank you for the feedback. Glad you like the new format. On the slowness, could you be more specific on what is slow? e.g., getting to the forum home page, opening a message, doing a search? or posting a message? Our limited testing has not indicated a deteriation of speed but it may have happened.

The poster's e-mail address is still there but may not have been obvious. It is embedded under the person's name above the thread. We will look into adding e-mail links within the tread. I appreciate your interest in advertising on our site and will e-mail you with details.

I posted a query about the speed almost as soon as the format changed. I have speed problems no matter what function I am performing, loading the site, accessing messages or posting a reply. Other sites I visit, and they vary widely, have not slowed like this so I don't think it is anything global here, but some incompatability or conflict between our network here and your site. I don't have access at home so I can't comment on whether this speed would be similar if I was not accessing the internet through our network. Since this is one of hundreds of sites accessed by the 1000 or so employees here I have not managed to get our I.S. department very interested in investigating a cause. Just thought I would let Jon know he is not alone and let you know that I still value the SMTnet forum. I just cannot afford the wait time during the normal working day.
