Has anyone heard of a process called White Tin for depositing a solderable surface on a pcb rather than the standard hot air solder leveling?

White tin is another take on the tin immersion process proported to eliminate problems associated with "grey" tin (high, fast oxidation rates, etc.) used for many years. There's lot's of hype about this process and product - as with many others. Look at the IPC Technet Archives for many real and imagined questions and answers. Also, if you want sales information and some references, contact board shops using the process.
