Dear everybody : Does anyone have some information about "bleeder pad"? it seems a method to avoid solder shorts across very small SMT pads.If someone have any idea about it, please contact with me , thanks !

Is it possible that you want scavanger (or sometimes thief) pads? Scavanger pads are used to remove excess solder from trailing pads when wave soldering SMT parts, usually SOICs, on the second side of the board.

If that's what you mean, here's what we call them: ROBBER PADS... Pretty close to the "thief" I guess. Those come with the design and if the wave soldering direction is not known at the time of design and/or there's no real estate limitation, the robber pads are on both sides of the connector/soic. Same size robber pads as the adjacent pads will work OK. Once again, that's for wave soldering during glue&wave process.
