Their solder scavenger can remove solder from a site and Topographically map out the surface of the site to keep a consistent scavenge height above the PCB (great for warped fabs). I have had incredible success with my summit 2000. It's an all-in-one solution for Device rework.

Ya I agree with Dean. We've done quite a lot of work with the SRT Summit2000 rework station.The results have been satisfactory, to say the least. One should however characterize the different operating parameters:namely the working scavenger air flow, the distance of the tip from the residue/board, the tip temperature and the scavenging speed. Wud love to discuss more in detail if u have some specific needs. Do u by any chance us the Summit 1000? Does it have thebscavenger option? Regards
