looking for a mnaul Surface Mount prototype assembly workstation | 17 February, 1999

Hello all in SMT land:

My name is Brian G Bancroft and I work for Lucent Technologies in New jersey. I have been asked to try and find information on a bench top workstation with micro-manipulation ability, soldering capability and binocular magnification for the operator.

This unit or set of sub units will be used to build prototype circuit boards with surface mount resistors and other components on a "1-off" prototype basis. Iy may also be used for repair/replacement of components on previously designed boards.

I have been browsing the internet, but I would appreciate anyone who could direct me to a vendor or vendors who specialize in or carry a line of these types of workstations. Please respond directly to:

bgb@lucent.com or (732) 957 6192

Thanks for your assistance.
