Fluxes and Fluxers - the info is in the library

Fluxes and Fluxers - the info is in the library | 26 April, 1999

Hey - remember the evaluation of VOC-Free fluxes that I promised a couple of months ago? well, I finally scrounged up the time to remove the propreitary (board name and number) info from the report. So it's ready. I posted it in the SMTnet library for your downloading pleasure.

And whilst I was there, I posted that all-time favorite on spray fluxer comparisons. You know the one, where we put the Opti-Fluxer and the Jet Fluxer head to head? Dreamed up a bunch of criteria on which to test their mettle. Including how to measure flux deposition and repeatability, and pattern uniformity. Yep, it's all there for the taking.

If you're a registered user, that is. If you're not, I will provide this one-time offer in the hopes of remaining politically neutral on the charged topic of registration: Email me at chrys.m.shea@icn.siemens.com by Friday, 4/30. On Monday morning May 3 I'll send out soft copies to whomever wants the info. You have to email the work addres, not the SMTnet address. The 'net mail doesn't allow attachments over one meg, and I'm too lazy to cut and paste the names from my 'net mailbox to my outlook one. And I will send only one attachment at a time, for all you AOL users out there. The files will be formatted in Word '97, so if you're not upgraded yet, you'll need to download a viewer.

Remember - this is a one time offer! Act now! Don't delay! All entries received after 4/30/99 will...blah blah blah blah blah...you get the picture.

Chrys,

First, thank you for contributing to the newly automated SMT Library.

Second, no registration is needed in order to access library information including your newly posted papers. Therefore they can simply download your papers from this site instead of asking you.

The registration requirement is only for people who want to post to the library. For those of you who object to registration, i will personally post your papers to the Library if you email them to me along with a 50-words summary for each paper.

We encourage all to visit and post to the Library. We also want to hear your feedback on its design, ease of use, etc.

Thanks.

Cunli

They are just all there for the community's reading pleasure.

Thanks for straightening me out Cunli.
