Can anyone pls enlighten me on the rework of BGA. I reworking on a optic BGA with a glass plate on it. Is there any special requirement to take care for the rework. Thank You

There are several things to consider:

Max. die temp. and ramp rate of component/assembly Assembly and new component must be moisture free Profile should match flux/solder paste specs. Whole board should be heated up evenly to prevent warp Practice/profile on scrap bd. with T/C's mounted in balls... Inspect with X-ray/Laser....
