Could anyone please give me any information or obtainable references concerning proper guidelines for the application of conformal coatings (double comp.type) using both methods of spraying and dipping. Information must also include best instrument for measuring the viscosity. Much appreciated.

Information must also include best instrument for measuring the viscosity. | Much appreciated. | There are several Specifications that indicated the requirements for varying application types. The MIl STd 46058 is one of the more comprehensive specs. also IPC/ ANsi have a spec that may be of some interest. I hope this is of some help

Please refer to the newly released IPC-CC-830B, it should answer most of your questions.

However, as far as a handbook / guidline is concerned, let me have your mail address and I will send you considerably more data.
