It seems great and never seems to need maintenance. It stays bright and shiny with good conductivity. I've also laid down the roll stuff that, when "melted" together at the seams with a heat gun, leaves no signs of having been joined. Both types, no matter the wear, keep their original surface finish through the matarial.

There are many others but none seem to compare, even 3M's. One other consideration I think important is measuring floor moisture content over time (ask your floor installers choice of testing methods) and osmonic pressure. If excessive, possible problems exist as lifted tiles and conductive integrity.

I went to a Motorola plant to check out the floor which had been down a couple years. It looked great, stood up to forklift traffic and was only damp mopped for maintenance. Earl is correct about the moisture testing. I have a problem with moisture coming up through the concrete floor which will lift and blemish the tiles. The manufacturer has methods to seal out the moisture prior to putting the tile down.

| I am looking for suppliers of ESD floor coverings. I currently have ESD carpet and I would like to replace them with ESD Tile. Help Me | | MD Cox | | Here's a few numbers to call, most are manufacturers that will have a Rep in your area:

3M 1-800-665-7862 Forbo 1-800-342-0604 Westek (Reps Plyflor) 1-800-446-2888 ESD Systems (Reps Forbo) 1-800-485-7390 ESD Flooring Systesm 1-803-574-6415 Tel Stil Concepts 1-609-428-4464 PRF USA 1-201-804-5565

I've acquied these in the process of looking for flooring for our new proposed building. I've seen expoxy floorings and have ruled them out for our new building (as well as carpet). My studies are only preliminary but Earl (et. al.) is right, the floor need a proper seal (we'll seal the ground before we lay the slab). The installer may also have to do some leveling... etc.

Hope this helps, Scott

(no extra charge) As far as hydrostatic presure due to barier breaks we have a couple of small places in our floor and we drilled 5 small holes through each of the tiles and into the concrete, corners and middle, to relive the pressure. This keeps the tiles from comming up.
