Tooling pins

Tooling pins | 23 August, 1999

I am looking for a source of tooling pins (various diameters) which can be easily attached (ie. taped) to pieces of FR-4 stock to allow for quick and cheap fixtures to run in my smt machines. I've seen these in the past where the pins are attached to thin sheets of 2"x1" metal.

Anyone know of a source?

Anyone doing anything differently to fixture boards running through their machines when the boards are not rectangular nor panelized?

Thanks Peter

They are very useful. Two sources: Elite circuit equipment (manual stencil printer mfg.) in Garden Grove, Ca. 714/895-1911 (heard rumors about a new area code) Start International (production supplies distributor) in Carrolton, Tx. 800/259-1986
