Can someone help me find info on gold repair? I know it can be done, but I need to know how expensive it is, etc.

To do yours, buy a "brush" plating system that fits on a card table and go for it. Check out the IPC TechNet for those still providing both capabilities.

We've also put a few gold edge contact repair procedures on line. Just visit http://www.circuitnet.com/catalog/c4-6-3.htm for all the juicy details if the problem is plating. Check out http://www.circuitnet.com/catalog/c4-6-2.htm if the gold contacts need to be replaced. Word for word, image for image, these procedures are an exact match for the new IPC repair procedures covering gold edge contacts.
