How hard is it to find green plastic spatulas for solder paste application?!? Everything I find online specific to the industry is coming out of the UK or so it seems. Nothing stateside? I hate to hit up our paste vendors for freebee spatulas (although it would be a nice propaganda tools to have lead and lead free different colored vendor branded tools on their websites, vendor show give away, and give them to your distributors to hand out, hint-hint). Anyone have a lead on some green and white plastic spatulas for solder paste application from a jar? Looks like a trip to Home Depot or Sally's Beauty Supply may be the quickest option.

I know for sure AIM and DEK both make green and white spatulas. Many companies will sell these online.

McMaster-Carr carries plastic spatulas Look on Page 2424 of their catalog. A package of 36 is roughly $20.00. That should last you awhile

Thanks for the feedback, We don't use DEK or AIM, I saw DEK has black or white spatulas, didn't see green, and it seems like only from places out of UK. I've gotten the 1" wide green rounded ones from AIM in the past (including logo), but since I don't use them here....wouldn't feel right asking.. I did get white from indium previously as well. but they had only white and was more of a putty knife style. I'd like to find an off shelf same style, green and white. I'm just surprised that no one has them readily on hand for this application, seems like to me a nice token give away from paste vendors at a show or something would be a good idea.

Mcmaster only had white in that style. I had no problem finding spatulas or putty knives that fit the function of what I was looking for, it was more of the color green for visuals. Its just a nice touch for the visual. I may just dip the handles to differentiate. Just seems like more of a hassle then what it should have been just to find a stupid green plastic spatula/ putty knife. Didn't know if someone had a lead on somewhere that had them readily available that they could share.
