Hello,

We currently have Samsung CP45FV and SM45IFC pick and place machines and are looking to invest in two new Fuji NXT III SMT lines. I'm looking for a conversion software that will convert our existing programs to Fuji format. Is there any software out there currently that can perform this?

You should call Factory Logics or Valor, or any other of these systems and ask them if they can do exactly what you need. I know for a fact that these platforms can create P&P files for many of the placement systems out there.

Try Ealead Programming.

http://ealead-e.ucoz.com Dicky name but $1000 US dollars and can convert between a very large number of late model machines. The trial however will only output ten feeders to a file, and lasts one month. Another approach if you have a text file is to convert it to CSV and then run it through my program PCBSynergy.

Not sure you will find what you are looking for. Everyone is talking about converting the program but I think they are just talking about the x-y information. The problem is in the part/package data. Different Machines require different information, use different nozzles / heads / cameras / etc..., work with different light levels, align with laser / mechanical / vision...... Unless you can find all of the parts you need in a master library for multiple machine manufacturers (Valor has something like this), I am not sure moving the x-y data while compensating for possible origin changes even matters.

Hi,

You have 2 options: 1. You can pay for a software solutions but it can't do 100% work. You will complete manually a conversion (between 5%-50% based on a complex of your board, type of component and other problems). 2. Do it by your self using Excel and Machine teach of components. You can extract by Copy-Paste (Ctrl-C + Ctrl-V) from Samsung software to Excel. And, import an excel file to the Fuji solution.
