Inovaxe Smartcarts for storage advice

We have been using InoAuto carts since 2015 and we have a number of them on our floor. We bought few of their passive carts on 2014 IPC show and that's how we know them.

Although we already have efficient vertical revolving storage systems, we have moved almost all our high-demand reels into those Smartcarts. Every time our material handler pulling a reel from it, the LED light for that particular slot will be automatically lit up. Once the reel has been pulled， it will automatically process the transactions/movements.

By using those InoAuto smart carts, we saved about 40% (in average) of our kitting time.

Also it provided us the package traceability in stock.

If you have your own MRP system, their software might be able to work through it to save the extra transactions.

My employer has 2 of these carts. We have one that holds over 500 8mm reels. The other cart is a combination of 8's, 12's, 16's, and tube parts. The carts are easy to use easy to load and operator friendly. They are a great investment because they will keep track of usage, a secure location for the parts and they tell set up folks what line the part is on if need be. If you get one make sure you sit through the webinar they offer because it really does walk you through the process.
