Alternate uses for CRTech RTI6250 AOI? | 28 September, 2016

I have a functional RTI 6250 AOI machine which I no longer use. My primary AOI is Yestech, and I do not see any use for the old one. The maintenance of two programs is way too much work even to just use it for presence and polarity. Has anyone else used these in some unconventional way? Peter

2D SPI?

Depending on the focusing height PTH inspection, or PTH solder joint inspection?

Strip down if it has a granite slab in and turn into an engineering table for manufactured parts inspection?

Stick a router head on it if you are really bored and have too much time on your hands?

They are old, and you can probably get a 2nd user Yestech for not a lot of money if you are thinking of pouring too much resource into it.
