Hello,

Please is there someone could help me?

We have philips emerald x machine, and I would like to generate cad file from cam350 software to convert it by cad2cad software and finally to get vios file for my pick and place machine.

My question if I take only the silkscreen layers to generate cad files?. How to generate bill of materials with BOM extension?

Hi,

We have developed solution, called QPlan, that is reading CAD (different formats), merging it with BOM (including check of BOM and compare exceptions), comparing with your history library of Assembleon/Philips, simulating SMT process with automatic angle and XY fix, exporting CAD file with BOM information splitted to CS/PS.

Try PCBSynergy. It does VIOS, both versions, can read 10 CAD formats does the Philips CAD2CAD interchange format(*.CAD)doesn't work from Gerber files but does interface to Visualplace which does, which in turn interfaces to PCBSynergy.

Hi,

I'm trying to use the PCB SYNERGY software, when I press the process button the following message appears.

PADS ASCII 2005 file in development!... NoSMTComponents = 0 NoComponents = 0 NoSMTFeeders = 0 NoFeeders = 0 This file is suitable for SMT machine generation Feeders generated: 0 Number of Components: 0 Number of Components: 0 generating BOM file... generating CSV file... generating PCB CSV file... generating PIK file... NoSMTFeeders = 0 NoSMTComponents = 0 This file is suitable for running on an SMT machine success.

What's wrong?

Send me a copy of your PADS file with any tracks and polygons deleted and I will have a look at it for you. You may also extract a PCB CSV file from PADS and try that. The FAQ contains what you can use for headings to make the file read easily.
