Mydata and a Hover-Davis Label Feeder help | 9 July, 2015

We have a mydata MY100DX and A Hover-Davis label feeder. I'm have issues picking up the label. The machine will place it fine for a few then stop and refuse to pick up the label. Is anyone using this configuration and if so do you have and points that will help with the pick up. Mydata tech support is really no help.

Because I was on the phone with them for more then an hour with no help. Tech support has no experience with this feeder. That is why I'm asking if anyone here does.

Is the feeder working properly... presenting the label at the same location each time it indexes?

If yes, I would look at changing nozzles on the machine. sometimes a rigid tipped nozzle cannot maintain suction on thin items like labels that can bend when the nozzle makes contact.

If No, Make sure you are using compliant label stock and/or fix the feeder.
