Our customers are performing these calculation on AOI machines and XRAY machines based on attributes. For this purpose, we have developed special software solution for these calculations which gathers real-time information and allows you to make calculations Gauge R & R, PP / PPK and much more.

Hello, I have seen two different ways in two companies - one they do it before start of every batch, the others do it when a program is made. I am a fan of the first one, but it depends on company policy. Its good when you have to make a lot of changes to the programs in the beginning of a product. Checking helps a lot to fix some escapes, when you make a good golden sample (Nok panel with simulated defects from the Line. It is very important to include missing solder, polarity and lifted leads which can escape the machine at first.

Hi,

I agree with Buckcho. Further to what was said here, our customers perform preliminary simulations to discover potential problems in production. To do so, they use software tools such as QPlan and QPlace UPD. QPlan automatically detects and fixes XY, Angle. Also, it gives report of fixed and exceptions, and allows to fix manually (very fast) of exceptions by dynamical view. QPlace UPD updates changes of BOM (ECN/ECO) directly on SMT program. If you changes is more than 10, you need this as a reason of human factor.
