I have been using Quad 4C's for 15 years and have never come across this error. Everything initializes OK but when I start a program through Central Controller I get an "OUT OF MEMORY" error. I have flushed the Mod codes and re-entered them and have replaced the SRX card with no change. Has anyone else seen this error ? What memory is the error refering to? Could it be PC Memory? Any help is appreciated.

It could be PC Memory or maybe a full hard drive. I would check the following first.

1. Reset board count (there is a bug that causes problems if the count gets too high.) 2. Make sure ROA=OFF if the line is in your configuration file editor. 3. Make sure RUNLOG=OFF if the line is in your configuration file editor 4. If any of these were on....go into UTILITIES-RUNLOG SPC-clear all files

Good Luck

Bob,

Thanks, Your suggestions got me on the right track. I moved my focus from the assembler to the PC and found that my EMM386 memory manager was corrupt.I copied it from another machine and all is well.

Thanks again
